SUMMARY:
Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in the manufacturing of Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

POSITION INFO:

Short Summary:

The main purpose for this position is to plan and obtain all specialized engineering and project materials, manage stock levels of all the store items, and source pricing and availability of bill of materials (BOM).

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for interpreting all items on the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Responsible for sourcing pricing and availability of all technical and standard store items.
• Management of BOM - Comparing and compiling prices and reporting to the Project Engineers.
• Execute part of ordering, manage lead times, and ensure full kit delivery for projects.
  Compile PPE matrix for SOILL group and review annually for approval by Management.
• Execute PPE procurement and manage stock levels of PPE in PPE Store.
• Correctly allocation PPE clothing according to the PPE matrix.
• Replenish and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained for all store items.
• Draw up cost reports for project spend on capex programs (DMS).
• Maintain critical spares per division/ machine in store for Project Engineers.

• Technical tertiary qualification in Procurement or Engineering
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in an FMCG or factory environment
• Experience with spare parts and project store environment for machines
• Good technical base knowledge of machinery and manufacturing parts
• Solid understanding of Store Principals and Inventory Management
• Working knowledge of SAP or an equivalent program is essential
