The company operates a technical department with a team of electrical/mechanical technicians focused on maintenance, repairs, and installations. They maintain a collaborative, high-energy environment and manage specialized stock components and international logistics.

The Role: Technical Coordinator
The Technical Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for clients and the backbone of the technical department. The purpose of this role is to manage the work flow for technicians to ensure maintenance, repairs, and installations are executed while coordinating between technical operations, logistics, and accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate at least 5 years of administrative tasks within the technical department.

• Schedule repairs and maintenance while arranging site equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and containers.

• Execute full function Pastel processing including sales orders, purchase orders, and GRNs.

• Manage electrical inventory and perform monthly stock takes.

• Handle cross-border logistics including commercial invoices, customs documentation, and work visas.

• Prepare job cards and file inspection reports on the company database.

• Utilize Bills of Materials (BOM) to process the manufacturing of finished products.

• Order specific components for repairs and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

About You

• Minimum 5 years of administrative experience.

• Proficiency in Pastel Accounting (specifically Inventory modules) and MS Office.

• Proven experience working with Bills of Materials (BOM).

• Clear and efficient communication skills in English and Afrikaans.

• Reliable transport and a trustworthy track record.

• Technical-minded with the ability to understand measurements and technical jargon.

• Proactive, meticulous, and a team player with a can-do attitude.

• Experience in site-related logistics or cross-border transportation (nice-to-have).
