Technical Counter Sales Representative

Our client, a leading engineering and industrial component supplier, seeks to employ 2 customer focused, energetic and counter sales consultants, at their branch in Johannesburg.

Please note that we are seeking candidates who have experience in technical components and parts for equipment and machinery, such as belting, bearings, seals, etc .

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

• You will have completed matric, coupled with 2-3 years experience in counter sales, specifically in an engineering technical, parts and component environment.
• You will have a solid background in managing customer orders via phone, email and walk-ins, as well as creating purchase orders, invoices and quotations
• You will be customer focused, be able to multi-task and be able to provide technical support and advise to customers, and ensure customer satisfaction with both product and service.
• You will be experienced on working on an ERP system, such as SAP, SYSPRO or Kerridge, as well as having good software proficiency in MS Office packages’
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
