Technical D & P Specialist LV Products

SUMMARY:
You will be working as a Technical and Design Promotion Specialist at global grade 15 and will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Global Markets Division based in Modderfontein, South Africa.
In this role you will be reporting to the Market Development Manager and will be responsible for technical promotion of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy.
You will also responsible to build long term relationship with customers to provide resolution regarding their needs and issues.

POSITION INFO:

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or higher national diploma in Electrical engineering. 
• Minimum 5 years’ experience preferably in the Industrial/Mining market segment and an existing customer base of specifiers, consultants and EPC’s that can be brought into company. 
• Should have sales experience in sales for low voltage and medium voltage. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally. 

• Implements proactive promotional activities for the customer target group, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, and educational material.
• Establishes and maintains effective long-term relationships with target customers to understand their current and future needs and to ensure the customer has a good understanding of the full company offering, features and benefits. Ensures a positive experience for the customer target group throughout the promotion activities.
• Prepares plans for visits and performs regular status reviews, including the analysis and output of the target audience visits.
• Ensures efficient marketing activities and strong value propositions to customers by using effective pro-motional techniques. Communicates details in accordance with company offering and strategy.
• Manages and drives education of the target audience by conducting and organizing appropriate training interventions.
• Ensures cross-collaboration and continuously develops own and team members technical, commercial, design and behavioral competences and know-how.
