SUMMARY:
An innovative aerospace engineering and consulting firm is seeking a motivated and results-driven Project Manager Engineering to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:

This role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to manage high-impact projects related to gas turbine and missile systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and manage aerospace engineering projects, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
• Provide interim and quarterly status reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of long-term budgets for manpower, training, facilities, and equipment.
• Ensure a comprehensive understanding of project history, status, and future challenges to meet contractual milestones.
• Build and expand the capabilities of the Project Management Group, transforming it into an efficient office that supports all project management functions and requirements.
• Lead, guide, and integrate a team of experienced engineers to achieve project goals.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals for spin-off projects and new business opportunities.
• Take initiative in creating and improving tools, techniques, and processes to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering).
• At least 5 years of experience managing engineering projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to report effectively to senior management and clients.
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Formal project management qualification or certification.
• Strong aerospace or mechanical engineering background and understanding.
