SUMMARY:
A well-established company in the lighting industry is seeking an experienced and driven TECHNICAL External Sales Representative to join their team in KwaZulu-Natal (remotely/home-based)

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

Previous sales experience within the lighting industry or strong understanding of lighting products and applications
Exposure to lighting design software such as AGI32 and/or Relux advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage professionally with engineers, contractors, mining personnel, and industrial clients
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong planning and organizational skills
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
Ability to cold call and develop new business opportunities
Demonstrated ability to close sales successfully
Basic computer literacy
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
Well-presented and professional

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Identify and secure new business opportunities
Conduct sales visits and client presentations
Promote the companys lighting products and solutions
Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals
Meet and exceed sales targets
Maintain accurate daily call reports on the company CRM system
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and product training when required
Provide support and guidance to clients regarding suitable lighting solutions
