Technical Key Accounts Manager- Pietermaritzburg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An established manufacturing specialist currently seeks an experienced Key Accounts Manager to be based out of Pietermaritzburg.

The focus of the role will be on successfully managing and growing key client accounts. The role will also involve project management and tasks such as establishing budgets, submitting annual price reviews, co-ordinating project teams and conducting project reviews.

Requirements:

Matric (a relevant qualification in engineering/ business/ manufacturing is preferred)
At least 2-3 years of experience in a Key Accounts role
Experience in reading and understanding CAD and 2-D drawings/designs
A background in mechanical engineering is preferred
Exposure to TQM and IATF standards and documentation
Excellent business and financial acumen, able to budget and understand costs/ profit, see trends and patterns and make appropriate business decisions based on data
Proven relationship-management skills
Strong project management experience
Good leadership ability
A confident and strategic approach
Full computer literacy including MS Excel, Word, Teams.
