Technical Sales executive (Rubber/Plastic/Silicones)

R500k plus full car Allowance and bonus

Cape Town

Excellent career opportunity with leading global chemical distributor. Reporting through to the Business Manager you will be responsible for identifying target customers and products.Â Promoting and marketing various products within a defined territory and to meet the sales growth parameters laid down by the budget and strategic plan.Â

To identify new customers, develop and promote sales to them by presenting the range of products available.
To offer prompt, effective technical support to customers according to a call plan in order to maintain existing business and close customer contact, resolve customer queries or complaints and develop new markets.
To promote new products to both existing and potential customers.
To assist with customer product trials as needed.
To achieve budgeted sales and margins as defined annually.
To report on market activities and competitor activity to the Business Manager in accordance with the companyâ€™s Reporting Procedure.
To attend joint customer visits with suppliers.
To render technical assistance periodically if needed in the regions.
To share market and technical feedback.

Qualification''s and experienceÂ

Relevant Tertiary qualification (eg Chemistry degree/diploma)Â
Minimum five years recent technical sales experience of rubber / plastics / silicones / raw materials.
