POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
A leading supplier of high-performance mining equipment is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive sales within the mining sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships, understanding technical requirements, and delivering tailored equipment solutions to mining operations. This role combines technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset and offers excellent growth opportunities within a reputable and well-supported organization.

Education:

Technical qualification or diploma in Mechanical / Mining / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
Additional sales or business training is advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 3–5 years' technical sales experience, preferably in the mining or heavy equipment industry
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and mining equipment operations
Proven ability to engage with mining engineers, procurement teams, and operational decision-makers
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-starter with a results-driven approach and strong client relationship management skills
Willingness to travel extensively to mining sites and client locations
Valid driver’s license
