POSITION INFO:
A well-established agricultural solutions provider is seeking a Technical Sales Representative with proven experience in agricultural sales to drive uptake of cutting-edge, UK-developed patented fertilizers across Southern Africa. This is a hybrid role ideal for a self-motivated individual who understands the local agricultural landscape and knows how to build trust in the field.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years proven sales experience within the agricultural industry
Located in Gauteng or surrounding regions
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
Ability to travel locally for client meetings and field visits
Comfortable working independently in a hybrid/remote setup
Strong communication and client relationship skills

Job Experience & Skills Required

Deep understanding of farming systems, crop nutrition, or plant health
Track record of managing agri-dealer and farmer relationships
Technical sales experience with agri-inputs (e.g., fertilizers, seed, crop protection)
Skilled in delivering value-driven product presentations and demos
Ability to provide basic technical support and agronomic advice
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field is beneficial
Target-driven with a solutions-oriented mindset
