Our client is looking for a driven sales professional with proven experience selling welding equipment & consumables.

Technical knowledge on Welding Equipment (non-neg).
Existing customer network in the Sasolburg or Middleburg or Rustenburg (Non-neg).
Strong new business development skills.

Only candidates with relevant Welding Equipment sales experience in either of the above locations will be considered!

POSITION INFO:

Must have an existing customer database in the Sasolburg or Middleburg or Rustenburg. Target and deadline-driven. Responsibilities: SalesÂ &Â BusinessÂ Development IdentifyÂ andÂ pursueÂ newÂ businessÂ opportunitiesÂ withinÂ assignedÂ territoryÂ throughÂ prospecting,Â coldÂ calling,Â andÂ networking. DevelopÂ andÂ executeÂ strategicÂ territoryÂ salesÂ plansÂ toÂ achieveÂ revenueÂ targetsÂ andÂ marketÂ penetrationÂ goals. ConductÂ productÂ demonstrationsÂ andÂ technicalÂ presentationsÂ toÂ showcaseÂ weldingÂ equipmentÂ capabilities. PrepareÂ andÂ presentÂ quotations,Â proposals,Â andÂ negotiateÂ contractsÂ withÂ customersÂ timeously. ProvideÂ salesÂ andÂ customerÂ supportÂ toÂ theÂ existing\/internalÂ andÂ potentialÂ customers. AttendÂ tradeÂ shows,Â industryÂ events,Â andÂ customerÂ sitesÂ toÂ promoteÂ productsÂ andÂ services. GenerateÂ weeklyÂ salesÂ reportsÂ andÂ trackÂ performanceÂ metrics InÂ conjunctionÂ withÂ theÂ SalesÂ &Â InventoryÂ coordinators,Â ensureÂ thatÂ stockÂ isÂ accuratelyÂ managedÂ andÂ controlled. SupportÂ financialÂ managementÂ byÂ assistingÂ inÂ recoveringÂ outstandingÂ debtors. EnsureÂ PDI,Â purchaseÂ requisitionsÂ andÂ invoicesÂ areÂ completedÂ accuratelyÂ andÂ timeously. EnsureÂ complianceÂ withÂ SHERQÂ policies,Â practicesÂ andÂ procedures. Adhere to company policies and procedures. CustomerÂ RelationshipÂ Management BuildÂ andÂ maintainÂ long-termÂ relationshipsÂ withÂ existingÂ customersÂ toÂ ensureÂ retentionÂ andÂ accountÂ growth. ConductÂ regularÂ customerÂ visitsÂ toÂ understandÂ evolvingÂ needsÂ andÂ identifyÂ upsellingÂ opportunities. ProvideÂ technicalÂ consultationÂ toÂ helpÂ customersÂ selectÂ appropriateÂ weldingÂ solutionsÂ forÂ theirÂ applications. RespondÂ toÂ customerÂ inquiries,Â resolveÂ complaints,Â andÂ coordinateÂ withÂ internalÂ teamsÂ toÂ ensureÂ timelyÂ issueÂ resolution. DeliverÂ productÂ trainingÂ andÂ after-salesÂ supportÂ toÂ enhanceÂ customerÂ satisfaction. Organise and facilitate any potential demonstrations and \/or training sessions as required by customers. TechnicalÂ &Â MarketÂ Intelligence KeepÂ abreastÂ ofÂ weldingÂ technologies,Â industryÂ trends,Â andÂ competitiveÂ landscape. Provide market feedback to management regarding customer needs, competitive activities, and product performance. CollaborateÂ withÂ technicalÂ teamsÂ toÂ developÂ customisedÂ solutionsÂ forÂ complexÂ customerÂ requirements. EducateÂ customersÂ onÂ safetyÂ standards,Â weldingÂ procedures,Â andÂ bestÂ practices.
