JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for a Technical Sales Support Manager based in Modderfontein, Gauteng.

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years’ experience in a technical position in the global automation industry.
5+ years’ experience in engineering or commissioning with automation products or systems.
Ability to translate match technical requirements on a customer site.
General knowledge of customer products, applications and processes in the Power, Water, Oil or Gas sectors.
Good knowledge in contract and risk management.
Ability to accurately estimate the costs of products, systems or service offerings.
Fluent in written and verbal English is essential.

Responsibilities:

Create, implement and review local sales support strategy, define key targets and ensure their achievement for customer support.
Ensure most competitive offers taking into account the market situation and customer’s conditions.
Identify which approach can be applied to better serve the customer.
Oversee the validation of terms and conditions in each offer.
Support bid or no bid analyses and decisions and participate in project risk review processes.
Ensure support to the Sales organizations during the technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations with customers.
Provide technical support and clarification as needed.
Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, skilled and directed.
