An experienced Technical Support and Internal Sales professional with a strong background in providing technical product support

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS: • Matric. • Electrical background or experience in electrical wholesale, switchgear, panel building or contractor supply. • Low-voltage switchgear product knowledge will be advantageous. • Experience with circuit breakers, protection, control gear, metering, PV\/DC or automation products beneficial. • Internal sales or technical support experience preferred. • Good computer skills for emails, quotes, product codes and datasheets. • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn A&O; focus ranges including CHINT, Noark and Allbrox. DUTIES: Assist DBN \/ PE \/ CPT branches with product and application queries. • Support Durban internal sales with quote checks and product selection. • Guide staff on breakers, protection, control gear, metering, PV\/DC and automation items. • Check part numbers, ratings, poles, voltage, curves, accessories and alternatives. • Identify mismatches between customer requirements and quoted items. • Prepare or confirm technical information, datasheets and supplier confirmations. • Escalate complex queries to senior technical staff or suppliers and follow through. • Support internal product knowledge, branch coordination and clear technical communication.
