Technical Test Analyst

POSITION INFO:

Description:

A small agile development team looking for an Automation Tester with a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Business Information Systems or appropriate certification in software testing such as ISTQB Foundation Certification in Software Testing.

Education:

• NDip/BTech/BSc. Information Technology with commensurate testing experience.

Skills:

• Approximately 5 years’ testing experience required.
• Automation Testing (Solid) and Manual Testing
• Apply relevant test methods and techniques
• Design and execute test Cases
• Reducing “Time to Test” trend on an ongoing basis
• Reducing “Defect Resolution Time” trend on an ongoing basis
• Perform as part of the Agile team
• Collaborate in an agile team, being familiar with agile principles and practices
• Adapt existing testing experience, knowledge, and best practices to agile projects
• Attend daily Stand-ups
• Accuracy and completeness of scoping and estimates of testing portion of user stories
