Technician (Auto Electric & Diesel)

SUMMARY:
A well-established car dealership based in the Western Suburbs of Johannesburg is seeking a qualified and experienced Technician (Auto Electric & Diesel) for the following branches: Middelburg, Ruimsig and Polokwane to be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and diesel engines of vehicles, ensuring high quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM EDUCATION (FORMAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED)
Auto Electrician

• National Certificate: Automotive Repair and Maintenance (NQF Level 3)
• National Diploma: Automotive Electrical Systems (NQF Level 5)
• Section 13 Trade Test Certificate: Auto Electrician (issued by the Department of Higher Education and Training
• Certificate of Competence: Auto Electrician (issued by the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers), and/or

• National Certificate: Diesel Mechanic (NQF Level 3)
• National Diploma: Diesel Mechanics (NQF Level 5)
• Section 26D Trade Test Certificate: Diesel Mechanic (issued by the Department of Higher Education and Training)
• Certificate of Competence: Diesel Mechanic (issued by the South African Institute of Mechanical Engineers)

• A valid Code 8 (B) or higher driver's license

• Manufacturer technical training
