Role purpose
You will generate and nurture qualified B2B leads, keeping the HubSpot pipeline accurate and active. Your focus is on contacting identified prospects in the chosen sectors, confirming contract end dates and incumbent arrangements, sending targeted marketing content at planned intervals, and booking high-quality appointments for the Business Development team.
Key responsibilities
Lead generation and prospecting through cold calling and outbound email to target organisations.
Qualifying prospects against agreed criteria (sector, site profile, service needs, decision-makers, buying timeline).
Identifying and recording contract end dates, incumbent provider details, tender timelines, scope and estimated contract values.
Maintaining accurate CRM records in HubSpot, including contact details, notes, activities, next steps and marketing permissions.
Sending prescribed marketing collateral (white papers, company information, case studies and relevant statistics) in line with the marketing plan and agreed timelines.
Following up warm leads promptly, progressing conversations, and overcoming initial objections professionally.
Booking and confirming appointments for the Sales Director and wider BD/Sales team, including pre-brief notes and key context.
Supporting pipeline hygiene by keeping opportunity stages, tasks and reminders up to date in HubSpot.
Producing daily/weekly activity reporting, including calls made, emails sent, connects, meetings booked, and lead outcomes.
Working compliantly, including GDPR-aware handling of personal data and adherence to call/email standards.
Essential skills and attributes
Excellent verbal communication and a persuasive, confident telephone manner.
Strong written communication for outreach emails and follow-ups.
Comfortable working to targets, handling rejection and staying motivated.
Strong organisation and attention to detail, particularly when recording tender dates and contract information.
Proficiency with CRM systems and general IT, ideally including HubSpot.
Initiative, quick thinking and the ability to use scripts while sounding natural and consultative.
Good interpersonal skills with a professional approach to relationship-building.
Desirable experience
International experience, highly advantageous
B2B telemarketing/telesales or lead generation experience.
Experience in Facilities Management, Engineering Maintenance, M&E services, or selling into corporate/estates environments.
Understanding of procurement cycles, tendering, and contract renewal/end-date driven sales.
Experience running outreach sequences and content-led nurturing campaigns.
