JOB SUMMARY:
A temporary opportunity has arisen with our client for a Storeman to be based at their operations in Gqeberha.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Accurate and timeous processing of customer orders
Ensure an efficient stores operation
Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
Ensure good housekeeping
Maintain stock rotation – FIFO
Ensure strict access control
Ensure correct stock levels at all times. Variances must not exceed company policy
Report stock outs immediately to Regional Manager
Assist Regional Manager with general office tasks
Collect picking tickets and process them without delay
Accurate and timeous dispatch of all customer orders
Ensure that customer collections are completed in line with customer expectations
Prompt and accurate receiving of stock
Assist with all stock levels

Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a warehouse environment
Computer Literate
BPSC knowledge will be an advantage
