POSITION INFO:
A well-established electrical contracting company based in Epping, Cape Town, is looking for an experienced and highly organised Tender Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the tender administration process, ensuring that submissions are accurate, professional, complete and submitted within strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities Identify and monitor relevant tender opportunities. Coordinate the preparation and submission of electrical tenders. Manage tender documentation, schedules and submission requirements. Request and compile supplier and subcontractor quotations. Prepare tender pricing schedules and supporting documentation. Ensure all mandatory tender requirements are completed. Maintain accurate tender registers and databases. Assist with compiling company profiles, compliance documentation and technical submissions. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants and clients. Track tender deadlines and ensure submissions are made on time. Maintain organised electronic and hard-copy tender files. Provide administrative support to the estimating and commercial teams. Requirements Previous experience in tender administration, preferably within the electrical contracting or construction industry. Good understanding of construction tender processes and documentation. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word. Excellent organisational and administrative abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Experience working with construction\/electrical tender portals will be advantageous.
