Tender Specialist \/ Bid Coordinator - Johannesburg, Gauteng (On-site \/ Hybrid) - Salary R20,000 - R25,000 CTC per month A dynamic, growing commercial enterprise in Johannesburg is expanding its Business Development team. They are seeking a meticulous and drive-oriented Tender Specialist \/ Bid Coordinator to take full ownership of opportunity scouting, compliance screening, and end-to-end bid compilation. This role serves as the critical first line of defence in the revenue pipeline, turning portal tracking into active, winning proposals across public and commercial sectors. What You'll Do Scout & Track Opportunities: Conduct daily systematic monitoring of e-procurement portals, government tender platforms, and commercial databases; maintain an active tender pipeline dashboard. Evaluate & Screen: Review RFQ\/RFP requirements, scope of work, and mandatory submission criteria to flag deadlines and run initial bid\/no-bid assessments with internal teams. Assemble & Comply: Gather administrative, compliance, and corporate documentation (tax clearances, company registrations, ISO certs); format and proofread submissions to ensure 100% compliance. Coordinate & Submit: Liaise with Sales, Technical, Finance, and Legal teams to gather pricing and technical inputs, manage clarification questions, and execute seamless digital or physical submissions ahead of cutoffs. Analyze Outcomes: Log tender results post-submission and capture feedback on unsuccessful bids for continuous process improvement. What You Bring 2-4 years of hands-on experience in tender sourcing, bid coordination, or sales operations. Technical Familiarity: Proven navigation of public e-procurement portals, vendor databases (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, CSD\/government portals), and CRM systems. Key Strengths: Exceptional attention to detail, strong administrative agility, strict deadline discipline, and solid commercial awareness.
