Tendering Manager

The incumbent will assume responsibility for all endeavours of tendering support staff that are directed towards the appropriation of new contracts. The primary function of the position is to identify prospective business opportunities and prepare professionally compiled tenders that suitably curtail commercial risk and accurately prices the scope of works.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognized tertiary Electrical Engineering or commercial qualification.
• Exposure to the electrical engineering industry and, in particular, substations.
• Estimating and tendering experience (Microsoft Excel based system).
• Commercial expedience.
• Computer literacy and competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project.
• Good communication skills, writing ability and assertive business acumen.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Need to be accurate and hard working.
