POSITION INFO:
A leading supplier of instrumentation, test & measurement, and process control solutions is looking for a driven Business Development Engineer to grow business across the Western and Eastern Cape. This role is ideal for a technically strong sales professional who can develop new business, manage key accounts, and provide value-driven solutions into industries such as manufacturing, FMCG, renewable energy, utilities, data centres, mining, and industrial processing. Non-Negotiable Requirements Proven experience in instrumentation, process control, test & measurement, or industrial automation sales Strong business development and account management experience Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (essential) Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Western and Eastern Cape Strong technical and commercial aptitude Job Experience & Skills Required Develop and grow business across the assigned territory Manage and expand existing customer relationships Identify new project and sales opportunities Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial submissions Work closely with customers to provide fit-for-purpose technical solutions Maintain strong pipeline management and market visibility Exposure to instrumentation, process control, calibration, electrical, automation, data centres, renewable energy, or industrial technology solutions will be highly advantageous.
