Our client in the financial sector is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join a high-profile Core Banking Enhancement Project. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale banking systems, ensuring the successful delivery of quality software through comprehensive testing and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing test scenarios, test plans and detailed test cases from business, functional and technical requirements. Performing functional, integration, backend\/database, regression and end-to-end testing. Coordinating and supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Executing manual test cases and analysing test results. Logging, tracking and managing software defects. Preparing testing reports, sign-off documentation and test closure reports. Working within Agile and hybrid project environments. Supporting automation and performance testing initiatives where applicable. Collaborating effectively with business users, developers, project teams Minimum Requirements Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Software Development or a related field. ISTQB Foundation Certification or ISTQB Test Analyst Certification. Experience 5-8 years' experience in Test Analysis and Test Execution. 3-6 years' experience conducting functional, integration and User Acceptance Testing. Extensive experience using HP ALM. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience coordinating UAT execution and testing sign-off. Knowledge of SWIFT payment standards (MT and ISO 20022) will be advantageous. Experience within banking or financial services is highly desirable. Preferred Skills Automation testing experience. Knowledge of Business Process Testing (BPT). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities within complex environments. Self-motivated with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
