An innovative automotive engineering company is seeking a Test Engineer to join its Product Engineering division on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical or automotive engineering with a strong understanding of engines and powertrain systems. This role involves planning and executing component and system-level tests according to group standards, and supporting cross-functional teams through technical problem-solving and precise reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate testing activities, including facility modifications required for release testing of components.

• Prepare components and/or assemblies in accordance with test specifications, measurement checklists, and group standards to ensure test readiness and result validity.

• Set up test facilities and manage test operations, logs, and recordings in alignment with test schedules, safety practices, and corporate testing standards.

• Provide technical support to test technicians and mechanics throughout test execution by troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and ensuring all criteria are met.

• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and management, providing regular updates on test progress and results to support efficient test operation and milestone adherence.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Minimum 4 years).

• Solid understanding of Engines and Powertrain Systems.

• Prior experience in a test laboratory or engine testing environment is advantageous.
