Tester (Intermediate) (ITC-50)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Tester to join our team on a contract basis. With 5–8 years of hands-on QA experience, the ideal candidate will bring strong test design and execution skills across manual and automated environments, and a solid understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and manual/automated test cases.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA.
• Perform regression, functional, performance, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in root cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Support UAT efforts and continuously enhance QA processes.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, and JIRA.
• Familiar with JMeter, TestNG, and frameworks like JUnit or PyTest.
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to API testing and web automation.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

Minimum Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in software testing (manual and automated).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
