POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Training and Dev Manager needs to have strong Mining and Smelting background and will do extensive travelling and be based in Middelburg
• Minimum qualifications: Degree or National Diploma – Training related 8 years’ mining experience 8 year’s training experience Assessor/Moderator certificate

• Microsoft programs Samancor Cr Systems (LMS, IMS, EBMS, COUPA, BBEEE123) Ability to develop and proof training materials Ability to suggest enhancements to existing training programs Skills in writing reports and correspondence Strong planning and organizational skills Proven presentation and facilitation skills Auditing skills as per ISO guidelines

• Knowledge of instructional and learning theory and principles Knowledge of instructional design Knowledge of training methodologies Knowledge of competency assessment Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and curriculum development techniques Demonstrate and apply an understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (Act 75 of 1997) Demonstrate and apply an understanding of the Labour Relations Act (Act 66 of 1995) Demonstrate understanding of the transformative elements of the HRD legislation (Skills Development Act) Demonstrate understanding of Mine Health and Safety Act Demonstrate understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Knowledge of Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA)
