Training Design Specialist -(EE) - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
Seeking an Instructional Design Specialist with a Bachelor''s Degree (relevant professional qualification (e.g. Instructional Technology / Design Qualification) will be advantageous) plus 3+ years of relevant experience, for an EE position based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Job Role

Responsible for Research, Design and Development of Training content and related workshop material in support of client and/or business requirements and with specific focus on alignment with relevant financial services legislation.

 Responsibilities

• Providing support to the business by integrating technology into the curriculum and working with the business to successfully implement learning technologies.
• Assessing instructional needs within the business and identifying applicable solutions to enhance learning.
• Development of instructional content used to support online, blended and face-to-face learning interventions.
• Assisting with the development of web based and multimedia instructional materials to support learning and development.
• Designing, developing and delivering professional and technical training for the business on current technologies and new initiatives in the area of instructional technology through web-based tutorials, instructor-led and face-to-face workshops, remote web-conference sessions, and online self-paced training programs.
• Further support with:
  • Scoping and managing research and design projects as and when required.
  • Designing training workshops in relation to content, structure and process.
  • Rolling out of new training including pilots and train-the trainer sessions.
  • Maintaining, updating and reviewing of existing training content.

 Requirements

 Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Bachelors Degree
• A relevant professional qualification (e.g. Instructional Technology / Design Qualification) will be advantageous.
• CFP qualification will be advantageous.
• Assessor / Moderator certification is recommended.
• E-Learning / Graphic Design experience is recommended.

• Articulate, Camtasia, AVS, Raptivity, SnagIt, Flipping Book, SAP Productivity, Handbrake, Visio Photoshop, Notepad, SPP.
• Adult Learning Principles and different learning styles/types.
• E-Learning and blended learning development.
• Training assessment and evaluation.
• Training Needs Analysis processes.
• Financial Services Product Knowledge
• Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge.
• Full understanding of the different training qualification frameworks.
