Job and Company description:

My client is in search of a multilingual Analyst and Transformation Officer to form a crucial part of their team. The incumbent must identify deserving farmers that are evaluated on a comprehensive scorecard to establish support needed that will improve the quality of crop and number of commercially viable hectares under black ownership in South Africa. Applicants must be comfortable with extensive travel to the involved communities in different provinces.

As Transformation and Budget Officer you will be responsible for:

Budget allocation and execution as per guidelines
Scorecard verifications and finalizations
Identify and develop strategic Public or Private Stakeholder relationships
Collaborate with stakeholders of financial, socio-economic, skills development initiatives which will benefit the industry
Monitor and evaluate the emerging growers
Information dissemination to emerging farmers
Increase the participation of young black youth in middle-management positions in farm structures.
Provide support to farmers, nursery and Agri processor-based skills development for accreditation purposes.
Ensure that transformation is up to date with transformation news and legislation.
Identify financial support and need for enterprise development and facilitate the procurement processes to ensure funding is received
Assist with broad base black economic empowerment (BBBEE) compliance
Assist with maintaining BBBEE scorecard BBBEE reporting( monthly and quarterly)
Assist with BBBEE gap analysis and improvement plan
Budget Allocation between entities depending needs identified through analysis
