SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Lead delivery of treasury and financial risk management projects across multiple clients
Design and implement treasury frameworks, policies, and governance structures
Assess and manage liquidity risk, funding risk, and cash flow forecasting processes
Support asset liability management (ALM), capital management, and performance reporting
Advise on interest rate risk, hedging strategies, and balance sheet optimisation
Evaluate and improve treasury operations, controls, and system implementations
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver strategic solutions
Support regulatory compliance across financial institutions and reporting frameworks
Assist with business development, including proposals, presentations, and market insights
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and crossâfunctional teams
Provide technical insights into macroeconomic and regulatory impacts on treasury
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within treasury risk methodologies

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in treasury, financial risk, or financial services
Strong understanding of treasury operations, liquidity, and funding management
Experience with ALM, FTP, capital management, and financial performance analysis
Knowledge of banking, asset management, or insurance environments
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (FICA, Banks Act, Financial Markets Act)
Excellent analytical, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills

Qualification:
BCom Honours in Finance, Commerce OR Equivalent
CA(SA), CFA, OR Equivalent professional qualification - advantageous
