An exciting opportunity is available for an organised and detail-oriented Trip & Load Planner to join a busy bulk fuel delivery operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily trip planning, truck and driver allocation, schedule management, compliance, tracking and operational administration, ensuring that deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and within required timeframes. Key Responsibilities Attend daily morning operational update meetings. Prepare and manage daily trip schedules and ensure planning is completed by 12:00 each day. Plan trips in line with monthly supply targets and operational requirements. Allocate trucks and drivers to trips in conjunction with the Controller, taking driver hours and legal limits into consideration. Prepare, distribute and update draft and final schedules, ensuring there are no scheduling violations. Communicate schedule changes and amendments to drivers and relevant departments. Monitor truck movements using the tracking system. Manage and follow up on trip completion to ensure deliveries remain within allocated timeframes. Reconcile trip documentation, trip sheets and figures and ensure paperwork is correctly processed. Manage driver hours, overtime and related administration. Monitor and control product levels in storage tanks and complete required readings. Clear and update scheduled trip and order systems. Ensure all trips have the required JMPs and declarations. Communicate with customers regarding delays and provide relevant operational updates. Liaise with Training, HSSE and other departments regarding driver and trip-related matters. Identify, report and follow up on operational abnormalities and irregularities. Assist with HSSE responsibilities and communicate relevant matters to management and Head Office. Manage and check security records and vehicle movements. Work closely with the Controller and wider team to achieve daily operational goals. Stand in for the Controller when required. Perform other reasonable duties as directed by management. We are looking for someone who is: Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
