JOB SUMMARY:
Our client who specializes in manufacturing roof trusses is looking to employ 3 x truck assistants.
The business is based in Blackheath, Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates should stay within a radius of 10-15km or less around Blackheath.
Grade 12

Job outline:
To assist customers in loading their stock and to service customers in the yard and on the delivery truck.

Skills:
Good communication skills.
Product knowledge.
Customer service orientated.
Must be physically fit and able to pick up heavy weights.

Experience required:
Product knowledge - 0 years.

Competencies:
Delivering Results and meeting customer expectations.
Following instructions and Procedures.
Working with People.
Moving of finished goods/stock into location regularly to ensure walkways are kept clear.
Moving finished goods from one location to another when necessary.
Receiving & dispatching of all stocks.
Preparing orders according to picking slips and delivery notes.
Assisting with the loading of goods onto trucks for customers.
Ensure all goods are signed for before being loaded for customers.
Receiving in of goods and offloading from trucks where necessary.
Receiving and storing all raw materials received - when not out on the road.
Assist with stock take – Spot checks to be done regularly.
Housekeeping.
Communicate verbally or in writing in fluent English/Afrikaans.
Assist Driver with directions to site, assist with parking carefully.
Assist with offloading and checking of all orders to customers' satisfaction.
