JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in a big fast paced film around Germiston is looking for a UI/UX Designer Lead. Someone who is well experienced and who has a good eye, and who can keep up with the latest knowledge of designs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

UI/UX Designer Lead Responsibilities:

Evaluating and gathering user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
Demonstrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
Building page navigation buttons and search fields.
Developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
Preparing and presenting rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and identifying troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
Conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback.

Requirements and skills:

4+ years proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role.
Relevant qualifications as a Design, Computer Science or relevant field.
Proven portfolio of design projects.
Understanding of wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc and InVision).
Keep up with the latest knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Good time-management skills.
Be organized and professional.
