Role requirements

4+ years’ experience of UX design experience, with at least some of this working in a B2C or C2C online business
Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Zeplin, UXPin, and Balsamiq is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus Adept at handling and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, usability and addressing accessibility concerns
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
Fluency in English is a must. Bonus points if you can speak/write one of the more popular languages across Africa (e.g. French, Igbo)
Relevant Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution is a plus
