UX/ Product Researcher

Role requirements

• 4+ years’ experience of UX design experience, with at least some of this working in a B2C or C2C online business
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Zeplin, UXPin, and Balsamiq is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus Adept at handling and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, usability and addressing accessibility concerns
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions
• Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
• Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
• Fluency in English is a must. Bonus points if you can speak/write one of the more popular languages across Africa (e.g. French, Igbo)
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution is a plus
