POSITION INFO:

A vacancy for a Unit Manager has become available at a private hospital in the east rand of Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of a combined adult ICU unit, including mentoring, training and professional development of the staff within these units.

To be considered for this position, the following work experience is required:

3- 5 yrs nursing experience in adult ICU and/or Cardio Thoracic units
Previous management experience essential
min of 2 years private hospital experience
Financial aptitude and ability to interpret financial data

Education & skills requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Nursing Science and SANC 2021 registered

Post basic qualification in Critical Care

Post basic qualification in Nursing Management preferred

Good communication skills and strong leadership skills

Good organisational skills

Resilience

Ability to work as part of the team and assist where necessary

Willing to work flexi hours if required

Computer proficient in Microsoft Office suite
