SUMMARY:
A vacancy for an ICU Unit Manager has become available at a private hospital in the west rand of Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for the the overall management of the ICU unit, including mentoring, training and professional development of the staff within these units.
To be considered for this position, the following work experience is required:

5 yrs+ nursing experience within a multi-disciplinary hospital
min of 2years current nursing experience within either Medical or Surgical ICU units
Previous management or supervisory experience (essential)
Private hospital experience required

Education & skills requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Nursing Science with Midwifery and SANC registered
Post basic qualification in Critical Care
Post basic qualification in Nursing Management
Good communication skills and strong leadership skills
Willing to work flexi hours if/when required
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office suite
