SUMMARY:
Looking for a Unit Manager position to advance your senior nursing career. Previous clinical leadership is required for this vacancy.

POSITION INFO:

A private hospital in Cape Town, requires the professional services of a Unit Manager for the Medical ward. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operational management of the Medical unit, including mentoring, training and professional development of the staff within the units.

To be considered for this position, the following work experience is required:

5 yrs+ nursing experience within a multi-disciplinary hospital, inclduing a Medical unit
min of 2 years supervisory or managment experience (essential)
Private hospital experience required

Education & skills requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Nursing Science

SANC registered

Post basic qualification in Nursing Management would be preferred

Good communication and leadership skills

Ability to work as part of the team and assist where necessary

Willing to work flexi hours if required

Computer proficient in Microsoft Office suite
