POSITION INFO:

DVT has a requirement for a dynamic Senior or Lead UX/UI Designer to join our FANTASTIC team.

We are a team of product designers, UX specialists and UI designers at DVT based in South Africa working on medium to large scale mobile and web projects for local and international clients.

At DVT we follow a human-centred design approach and make use of methodologies such as Lean UX and design thinking. We strive to collaborate with business stakeholders and software engineers as far as possible, to come up with the best possible solution every time. We make use of Sketch, Invision, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, UXPin and many more.

The successful applicant will have:

• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a UX / UI Designer
• Understanding of UI for Android, IOS and web patterns
• Must Have experience in banking / financial services
• Understanding of UX gold standard practices and patterns
• Able to manage/negotiate stakeholder’s expectations
• Excellent presentations skills
• The ability to lead a team of UX & UI designers
• Ability to review designer’s work
• Excellent mentoring and guiding skills
• Good collaboration skills - Collaboration with BA''s, PO''s, Tech leads and greater design team
• Excellent Planning/ road-mapping skills
• Specific tools experience includes JIRA, Confluence, Sketch, InVision and Teams
