Northern Suburbs Law firm based in Parktown seeks a VAF Legal Secretary

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Assisting Attorney with daily functions
Acknowledging receipt of instructions
Drafting of legal documents
Liaising with clients, correspondent attorneys and sheriffs
Attending to telephonic and email queries and requests from clients
Updating of bank’s system (My Attorney and CACS)
Submitting of invoices on banks system
Diary Management

Requirements:

Grade 12
Must be computer literate
Previous VAF experience
Previously worked in a law firm
Ability to work independently and work towards meeting tight deadlines
Good communication skills in English
Experience of the standard bank and My Attorney and CACS computer system
Experience in court processes both at high court and magistrates court
