Job Description

You will be responsible for the following:

• Sheet metal fabrication
• Inspecting first piece samples using industry appropriate methods such as measuring dimensions and assessing functionality.
• Responsible for ensuring that goods during the manufacturing process, are inspected for compliance to specification and shipment.
• Responsible for ensuring that non-conformances are generated, issued and closed out.
• Prepare critical inspection reports and record inspection results.
• Ability to communicate with production teams and management to improve product quality and production processes.
• Ability to use measuring equipment (Verniers, measuring tapes, etc) accurately.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Qualification in Quality Control

Skills

• ISO 9001:2015
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Minimum 2 years'' experience in quality control with sheet metal fabricated parts.
