SUMMARY:
Overview:
An established motor dealership in Johannesburg North is seeking an experienced and dynamic Preowned Sales Manager to lead their used vehicle sales department.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, franchise dealership experience, and a proven track record in driving sales performance and profitability.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Oversee all preowned vehicle sales operations and staff performance
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and monthly targets
Manage inventory, stock levels, and vehicle valuations
Ensure optimal customer satisfaction and retention
Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team
Monitor and report on sales performance, profitability, and market trends
Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
Ensure compliance with dealership policies and OEM standards

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Preowned / Used Vehicle Sales Manager within a franchise dealership environment
Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership, motivational, and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of the automotive industry and used car market trends
Valid South African driver’s license
Stable career history with contactable references
