SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vehicle Stock Controller to manage the daily flow, accuracy, and reporting of all vehicles across multiple automotive franchises.

This is a high-volume role requiring efficiency, precision, and proactive problem-solving to ensure dealership stock levels are accurately maintained and optimized.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire vehicle stock lifecycle from acquisition to delivery, including new and pre-owned vehicles.
Maintain accurate vehicle records in the dealership management system (DMS) and ensure compliance with stock control procedures.
Coordinate vehicle allocations across multiple franchises and departments to optimize sales and availability.
Perform regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
Monitor vehicle movements, including arrivals, transfers, and deliveries, ensuring timely updates and documentation.
Collaborate with sales, service, and finance teams to meet operational and sales targets.
Ensure all vehicles are correctly documented for licensing, registration, and compliance purposes.
Support marketing and showroom teams with stock information for online and in-dealership displays.
Generate and distribute regular reports on stock levels, turnover, aging, and sales performance.
Implement and maintain processes to minimize idle stock and optimize inventory turnover.
Manage relationships with transport and logistics providers to ensure smooth vehicle movement.

Requirements:

Previous experience in vehicle stock control, preferably in a multi-franchise or high-volume dealership environment.
Strong knowledge of DMS systems, stock reporting, and vehicle documentation processes.
Excellent organizational, administrative, and numerical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
