SUMMARY:
Luxury Jewellery Brand with Head Office based in Cape Town is looking for a Videographer / Content Creator.
 
The purpose of the role is to is to build a distinctive and globally relevant luxury brand through exceptional storytelling, design and content while protecting the consistency and integrity of the brand across every customer touchpoint.
 
The creative department operate as an in-house luxury brand and content engine: protecting the brand, creating distinctive work, and producing enough high-quality content to support digital, CRM, retail, PR and international growth.

POSITION INFO:
Purpose of the role: Short-form video, founder content, craftsmanship, product, events Capture the people, craftsmanship, diamonds, jewellery and stories behind brand through compelling moving image. Owns: Video capture Short-form content Behind-the-scenes storytelling Founder content Craftsmanship content Product videos (it's very important that the individual understands luxury but also how to capture jewellery perfectly) Event capture Social-first footage Duties: Film high-quality brand and social content. Capture jewellery with technically appropriate lighting and detail. Document Shimansky's design and manufacturing processes. Capture brand experts authentically. Build a continuously growing library of proprietary footage. Capture content in formats appropriate for multiple platforms. Identify spontaneous storytelling opportunities rather than relying exclusively on formal shoots. Work closely with the Creative Director and Editor. Requirements: Grade 12 A formal qualification in film, marketing, communications, or media. At least 2 to 3 years of experience in filming, photography, and video editing Proficiency in software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop Strong storytelling skills Hands-on experience with mirrorless or DSLR cameras, lenses, and stabilization equipment. Knowledge of studio or on-location lighting setups and recording clean sound using wireless microphones. Proficiency in video editing and colour grading alongside graphic tools like Photoshop Ability to craft short-form and long-form videos tailored for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Crafting hooks, narrative arcs, and concise script outlines for digital campaigns. Translating corporate identity, guidelines, and product placement goals into visual language
