SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse and logistics management, preferably within the FMCG sector.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, inventory control, and dispatch.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures related to warehouse operations.
Manage a team of warehouse staff: hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating performance.
Maintain accurate stock levels and manage stock rotation to ensure product integrity and minimize waste.
Work closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Implement and optimize warehouse processes for efficiency, safety, and accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in line with health and safety standards

Requirements:

Minimum 5 yearsâ experience in a warehouse management role, ideally in the FMCG sector.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficient in warehouse management systems (Syspro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Sound knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements in warehousing.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field will be advantageous

Salary / benefits & hours of work

Salary negotiable and dependant on experience
9% Non-contributing provident fund
15 workdays leave per year
Company assistance towards a medical aid
Bonus/13th Cheque
Mon-Fri / Closed on public holidays
Opening/Closing of warehouse on rotational basis
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: R25 000 to R30 000, dependant on experience)
