JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Logistics industry, has an opportunity available for a Warehouse Supervisor to be based in the Cape Town area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric (Degree / Diploma in Logistics or related field would be beneficial)
A minimum of 2-4 years working experience in logistics in a similar role
Reporting and effective communication
Good problem-solving skills
Computer literate and excel proficiency a must
Knowledge of vehicle loading, staff management & planning
Ability to work under pressure

KPAs:

Manage the receiving, consigning of jobs/stock
Ensure that stock is arranged and sorted per region
Create and sort all manifests/ delivery notes
Effective Load planning and space bookings
Coordinate and execute load instructions
Effective dispatch planning as per customer requirements
Follow up on urgent deliveries
Compile a recon of jobs from the previous night
