Web Content Curator Role (Digital content specialist)

SUMMARY:
A client is looking for a strong content writer and visual imagery creator to be responsible for content creation and curation for the Group’s new Ways of Work Portal. This position will provide creative direction, source images for new web pages and build out content through our content management system.

POSITION INFO:

The Digital Content Coordinator works collaboratively within a cross functional team and will communicate directly with project role players to support their individual content strategy.

The Digital Content Coordinator will:

Create compelling and creative original content that captures the target audience’s attention and influences action.

Edit content to ensure consistent quality, voice, messaging and brand adherence.

Load content through our website content management system - ServiceNow.

Provide creative direction and source images for new website content.

Support the national content team with organic content creation for our members.

Collaborate with internal teams and the digital web team to create content based on keywords and trends.

Manage the overall curation activities required to produce content for web, mobile, and other platforms.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and other sources needed to produce the quantity and quality of required content.

Ensure that project milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism or related.

Minimum 5 years of experience in web (digital) content writing.

Strong writing skills with the ability to edit web pages using content management systems.

Strong understanding of graphic content competency.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience in project management.

Solid experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with ServiceNow and HTML preferred.
