POSITION INFO:
A global player in the Web3 and digital assets space is looking for a sharp, curious and crypto-savvy newly qualified CA(SA) to join their team as a Web3 Accountant in Greenpoint, Cape Town. You’ll work across a mix of traditional finance functions and next-gen blockchain projects, bridging the gap between compliance and innovation. Think crypto reconciliations, smart contract audits, digital asset tracking and helping the finance team stay two steps ahead in an ever-changing landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with building financial processes for crypto and blockchain transactions
Perform reconciliations of digital asset wallets, exchanges and fiat accounts
Contribute to financial reporting, tax and audit prep across multiple jurisdictions
Collaborate on smart contract accounting and track token flows
Stay on top of regulatory changes, market trends and crypto finance standards

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Newly qualified CA(SA) with completed SAICA articles (or being signed off)
Some exposure to crypto, blockchain or Web3 (even if it’s personal / hobby-based)
MS Excel, bonus points for interest in DeFi tools, wallet platforms or block explorers
Strong understanding of financial principles, but comfortable operating in less structured, fast-paced environments
