Work Planner – Pipeline Projects (Opportunity in the Netherlands)

SUMMARY:
Introduction
We are recruiting a skilled Work Planner for our client in the Netherlands to support major gas, water, and electricity pipeline projects in the South Holland region. This is a hands-on coordination role best suited to someone with a background in civil or construction-related disciplines, who enjoys managing multiple tasks, working with people, and ensuring projects stay on track from planning to completion.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and organise underground utility projects from start-up to close-out
• Track project progress and financials, ensuring timeous handover to site teams
• Prepare and manage documentation including permit applications, production data, traffic plans, and site inspections
• Order materials, process variations or additional work, and maintain up-to-date project records
• Act as the key point of contact between internal stakeholders and external clients
• Support a multidisciplinary project team and keep communication flowing across all phases of delivery

• National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
• Alternatively, an N6 Certificate with relevant technical experience in infrastructure or utilities
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a work planning, project coordination, or site-based role in underground services (gas, water, or electricity)
• Strong administrative, multitasking, and organisational abilities
• Comfortable working with digital planning tools and documentation systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently across teams
• Valid driver’s licence required
