A leading engineering solutions provider, specialising in the design, manufacture, supply, and servicing of high-performance hydraulic mining systems seeks an experienced Workshop Manager to lead the Potchefstroom workshop. This is a hands-on leadership role for a technical expert passionate about equipment quality, safety, and team development.

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4)
• Trade Certification (Fitter, Millwright, or Diesel Mechanic)
• 8+ years in manufacturing/workshop environments
• Mining industry experience (strongly preferred)
• Proven team leadership experience
• Clear criminal record
• Medically fit for workshop duties

Responsibilities:

• Oversee assembly, maintenance, and refurbishment of hydraulic mining equipment
• Implement quality control protocols for all workshop outputs
• Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies and safety standards
• Compile and analyse equipment performance data
• Manage workshop assets and inventory
• Provide continuous technical training to workshop staff
• Foster a culture of safety and excellence
