POSITION INFO:

A leading manufacturer of refrigerated bodies and trailers is currently seeking a dedicated Workshop Manager to join their team. Committed to excellence in production and innovation, this company strives to deliver top-quality products to their clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Planning and overseeing workshop activities for refrigerated body and trailer manufacturing.
• Managing workshop staff, including supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
• Controlling and monitoring the flow of work to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensuring timely completion of production jobs according to schedule.
• Conducting quality checks on work done to maintain high standards.
• Reporting to management on workshop progress and issues.
• Controlling overtime hours worked by staff.
• Managing housekeeping in the workshop to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Computer literate, proficient in MS Office.
• Well-spoken in English.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.

NB: All positions must have first-hand knowledge/experience of refrigerated body building, including:

• Refrigerated body building.
• Lean manufacturing processes.
• Production/steel trailer manufacturing.
• Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) safety background knowledge.
