Young Talent Specialist: Banking: FTC

The call is for an experienced Talent Specialist to accept responsibility for the Bursary and Graduate Programs within the Group Talent Acquisition Business Unit

What will you do?

  • Plan and execute on annual cycle for all Young Talent Programs
  • Provide input to annual cycle for all Young Talent Programs
  • Provide input to annual budget for Bursar, Graduate and work readiness programs including campaigns, and monthly reconciliations, reporting and coordinating tax deductions by obtaining donation receipts, and participate in audits
  • Develop annual marketing, including recruitment strategy and facilitate work readiness programs for graduating bursars
  • Participate in annual employer and candidate surveys: SAGEA
  • Design and host the company’s Youth Events: SAP Jam Portal
  • Collect, consolidate, and manage all bursar, graduate, and Young Talent Programs data
  • Manage continuous improvement through developing and documenting guidelines for Young Talent Programs
  • Facilitate workstream meetings to ensure Cluster and Stakeholder collaboration
  • Management Graduate and Bursar Website pages and provide online and print media publications
  • Coordinate updates to Graduate role profile and offer letters as required
  • Liaise with Clusters, Recruitment and Learning to oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of graduates
  • Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders through signed SLAs/MOAs
  • Drive the client’s talent and transformational objectives aligned with scarce skills requirements
  • Facilitate engagement with applicants: including management of current bursar cohort, as well as other Young Talent Program participants and report to relevant stakeholders
  • Represent Group HR Talent at the CSI/Social Economic Forum
  • Execute and report on annul bursar and graduate marketing and recruitment plans, and manage various related campaigns
  • Ensure the integration of the website and recruitment system application process and advise representatives and promote alternative sourcing strategies
  • Manage university career activations including career fairs with all stakeholders and service providers, deal with all queries from business, graduates’ applicants
  • Organize bursar and graduate and Yes Youth engagements, welcome, meet and greet, networking
  • Onboard new and manage current bursars on a day-to-day basis
  • Monitor and report academic progress as well as financial payments by the Trust
  • Promote Young Talent for future work opportunities within the company in collaboration with business clusters
  • Achieve business strategy, objectives, and values through reviewing the company’s Business Unit Plant and Improve personal capability and stay abreast of development in field of expertise

What do you need?

  • Relevant Bachelors’ Degree
  • Ability to communicate complex information to various stakeholders
  • Implementing a strategic plan
  • Measuring client satisfaction
  • Working with stakeholders to solve problems
  • Tracking cost against budget
  • Understanding of applications environment
  • Experience in management of business projects and initiatives
  • Coordinating applicant interviews: Scheduling, providing travel arrangements
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role managing talent pipelines
  • External bursary program management in partnership with a Trust or similar funding vehicle
  • Internal Young Talent pipeline programs like graduate programs, learnerships or similar programs
