ð Finance Accountant – Join a Dynamic Team in Higher Education!

ð Location: Sandton, Johannesburg North
ð° Salary Range: R420 000 – R500 000 per annum (Market-related)

Are you a numbers-driven professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for financial integrity? A prestigious institution in the higher education space is looking for a Finance Accountant to bring precision and insight to their finance operations.

POSITION INFO:

ð¼ What You’ll Be Doing:

Prepare monthly journals and management accounts with insightful variance analysis
Develop operational finance reports and cash flow forecasts
Oversee working capital and collaborate with external auditors
Manage VAT, PAYE, and statutory submissions
Reconcile balance sheets and assist with budget planning
Administer SARS profiles and attend branch appointments when necessary
Compile and reconcile related party transactions and schedules

ð What You’ll Need:

NDip or BCom in Accounting Science / Financial Management
At least 1 year of post-articles experience
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with SARS queries is a plus
